Domenic Ionta is a solutions-focused Senior Executive and Board Member with over 15 years of success across the government, public policy, and education industries.

Leveraging extensive experience in implementing new policies and procedures, he is a valuable advisor for an organization seeking guidance in public policy, acquiring and managing government contracts, government data analysis, public finance, international and domestic security, legislative affairs, and international politics. His broad areas of expertise include public policy, homeland security, international affairs, and financial management.

Throughout his executive career, Domenic has held leadership positions with the US Department of Homeland Security/Office of the Secretary, the Transportation Security Administration (TSA), US Immigration and Customs Enforcement (ICE), and the University of South Carolina.

  • Serve as an advisor on all requisite public safety, homeland security, immigration, and law enforcement topics, and associated management and resource requirements as they arise
  • Lead and facilitate senior-level briefing and hearings with ICE, DHS, the White House, and the Hill, particularly the Homeland Security authorization and appropriations committees
  • Review, manage, and clear more than 50 daily ICE-wide director-level briefing materials, hearing testimony, and policy memos for ICE, DHS, the White House, and the Hill
  • Oversee $7.5 billion in personnel, contract, law-enforcement, legal, regulatory, and support resources for DHS; regularly brief the Hill on resource requirements to garner additional support from overseers in Congress
