ADVISOR BIOGRAPHY

Danny Silvers is an award winning game designer, event organizer, entrepeneur, and educator from Boston, MA. With 10 years of experience in game development, art, marketing, and events, Danny is a wealth of knowledge for any startup or established business with an eye on fun. Specializing in interactive entertainment, EdTech, creative direction, business/event planning, and community building, Danny's wealth of knowledge and upbeat demeanor are a benefit to any game studio, high tech business, or startup expo looking for an advisor to help get their dreams off the ground.

Danny's primary experience is in game development, having run Lantana Games for 10 years, with multiple game launches across PC, web, and mobile, including Children of Liberty Early Access, Mondrian - Abstraction in Beauty, and the upcoming Mondrian - Plastic Reality. Most recently he has been consulting on RatDog Games' Gunnhildr in a design and testing role, helping to hone in game systems, optimization, and even business plans.

Danny was also instrumental in establishing the Boston Festival of Indie Games at MIT, serving as the festival's marketing producer in 2012 & 2013 and the Co-Director of the festival in 2014, helping to make it the second highest attended gaming expo in the Northeast USA in a very short amount of time. He has also established relationships at schools like Northeastern University and the Savannah College of Art and Design to help mentor students in game development and give them their first opportunities in the game industry.

Danny holds a BFA in Interactive Design and Game Development from the Savannah College of Art and Design.
