  • Responsible for In-Game Animation System and Feature Design at Black Tusk Studios, a division of Microsoft Studios
  • Served as a subject matter expert for real-time animation on a central committee within Microsoft Studios, advising first party studios on animation technology and direction on next-gen consoles

  • Responsible for defining and implementing EA’s strategy for interactive believable characters on next-gen game platforms
  • Grew EA’s central animation technology group from ten to 25 developers
  • Established EA’s Animation Toolkit (ANT) as a common platform for in-game animation company-wide and as one of the gold standards for gameplay animation systems industry-wide

1999 - 2002

President/CTO - Improv Technologies, Inc.

  • Drove strategy and technology development and oversaw software development, sales, marketing, and business development efforts for the 40-person animation tools and games middleware company
  • Received the Computer Graphics Worlds Year 2000 Innovation Award for Orchestrate 3D, a non-linear real-time animation scripting and editing system
