Anton Prenneis is an accomplished Senior Executive and Thought Leader with more than 25 years of success in the information technology sector, serving customers and working with partners across a wide range of industry verticals including telecommunications, energy, healthcare, and financial services. Leveraging extensive experience creating innovative products and strategic plans for companies with a global scope, he is a valuable asset for growth-stage companies looking to develop and launch new products. His broad areas of expertise include software, go-to-market strategy, software development, sales and marketing strategy, SaaS, pricing strategy, data analytics, and strategic partnerships.
Throughout his executive career, Anton has held leadership positions at technology industry leaders including IBM and Dell EMC (formerly EMC Corporation), where he currently serves as Director of Solutions Management, Service Provider Analytics and Hosted Telecom Services. He has been responsible for overseeing all marketing functions for a startup business unit during incubation prior to EMC's merger with Dell, successfully establishing EMC as a key player in the telecommunications space; managing the budget, development, QA, and technical writing teams for two software products that earned IBM more than $50M in annual revenue and $10M in profits; working on international sales and partnering strategy while based in Singapore, and creating and implementing a global software try & buy program that resulted in high lead conversion rates and millions in assisted revenue. He has often served as the face of his companies and their products, traveling globally to deliver speaking engagements, briefings, tradeshow presentations, and interviews, as well as writing for press releases, blogs, social media posts, and industry forums.
Anton holds a Bachelors in Computer Science from Rutgers University/New Jersey Institute of Technology, an MS in Computer Science from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute, and an MBA from Columbia Business School. Anton was the Chairman of the Pricing Advisory Board at EMC and holds four patents in high-performance computing.
